Among the optional features available on certain Checchi & Magli, transplanters, the FARMFLEX front roller is one that, once you’ve tried it, you’ll hardly ever want to take off.
FARMFLEX technology stands out for several features that make it particularly well-suited for intensive horticulture.
How does it work?
Positioned at the front of the machine, the roller acts on the soil immediately before the transplanting units: it levels the soil, compacts the surface, and prepares the transplanting bed evenly, ensuring a constant working depth. The semi-hollow structure – neither inflated nor full – allows the rubber to deform with each rotation, adapting to the soil profile and absorbing shocks without transmitting them to the transplanter.

Technical and Operational Advantages
✅ Natural self-cleaning: The deformation of the rubber with each rotation causes soil to detach; there is also a scraper that removes any residue from the roller
✅ No punctures, no maintenance: The semi-hollow structure eliminates the risk of punctures typical of inflatable pneumatic rollers

The queen of transplanters, winner of numerous international awards. A single operator can plant two rows simultaneously. Adjustable row spacing min. 30 cm to max. 50 cm. Ideal for tomatoes, lettuce, broccoli, fennel, and onions.

DUAL 12 COMPACT
A compact version of the DUAL 12 GOLD, with an extremely narrow row spacing ranging from min. 25 cm to max. 30 cm, designed for transplanting lettuce and other crops with closely spaced rows. Lightweight and versatile, it works perfectly even on soft soil and raised beds.
QUBIK
The precision transplanting machine for pressed cubes (3.2 to 5 cm), designed for highly professional use in transplanting lettuce and onions. Adjustable row spacing min. 23 cm; minimum plant spacing min. 5 cm. Output of up to 7,200 plants per hour per row. The FARMFLEX roller is an integral part of the QUBIK’s standard equipment, where it prepares and levels the soil immediately before the furrow-opening plowshares—a combination that ensures precise and consistent planting of the cubes under any conditions.
