A holiday in Italy to visit the works of art of our country, but also to finally see, in person, where the Checchi & Magli equipment is produced. This is what the Canadian farmer Pascal Jennen from the Jennen Bros Inc business in the south of Ontario did by organizing his visit to Budrio last February, as he was curious to directly know the company where his two 12 row Dual 12 Gold transplanters were designed and built, which he uses with great satisfaction in his business to transplant onions and industrial tomatoes. Pascal Jennen owns 165 acres of onions and 55 of industrial tomatoes and he has been a Checchi & Magli customer for 7 years. The transplanters that he uses, he says, are very fast and permit a single operator to transplant two rows at the same time. According to Pascal, the possibility to adjust the distance between rows of the same transplanting unit from 30 to 50 cm is very interesting.
